1.) So as the title may reveal… i’m in prince george this weekend…
Goldee flew in on wednesday morning… from there we drove up to prince george…

the weather has been pretty crazy on the way up…. everything from sunshine… to pouring rain with 5 meter visibility fog… we went up to merrit… then headed across highway 8 from there… i don’t think was the best idea… it’s a narrow, and windy highway…

at one point… we were coming into a corner (i wasn’t driving :P) slightly too hot, i would guess that we started to loose traction… and the one driving countered too hard and the car fishtailed and turned the other way as we slid across the double yellow centre line and just missed the barrier on the other side of the road… lucky for us we didn’t hit it… but a nice truck driver in front of us stopped to make sure we were alright =)

prince george is an interesting place… the weather is constantly changing lately… and differing from one section of the town to another… of course… lots of trucks… i’m not sure if this is a place that i’d like to be riding in or not… oh.. the weird yet understandable thing… is the roads are missing a lot of lines… the paint just doesn’t last in these climates and is useless for the long winters…

2.) the wedding!!

so i’m up here for a wedding… that’s right…. Josh and Kerry are getting married!!! =)

exciting times… and i hope for and wish the best… they’re so happy together.. and going to disney land for their honeymoon :):)

3.) UNBC…

as some know… i was enrolled at UNBC… but dropped out to goto UVic… so i finally got the chance to get check out the university… it’s really quite nice… not very big… but has good looking buildings and yeah… everything is soo new =)

4.) Zizi…

i was start build up anxiety and worry… (it’s weird sometimes we get bad feelings about things… and often it’ll turn out that something has happened…) oi… so i wanted to contact her to see how she was doing in the early post accident recovery… but my phone wouldn’t work up here… i can’t roam on to the roger’s network here because i’m on city fido… lucky for me, kerry (with unlimited long distance in canada this month) let me use her phone to call…. Zizi… i hope things will be okay… please take care!!

5.) okay… so apparently it’s “harley country” up here…

lots of nice people… but 90% cruisers on the street… and dirt bikes in the back of trucks…

i’ve only seen maybe 10 sport bikes so far… a few gsxrs, cbr, and a couple old looking 80s sportbikes…

tried some of the local shops… everything was closed except for suzuki and another shop that didn’t have anything sportbike related…

some interesting roads up here…. but a lot of the roads have bad conditions… potholes… and with so many months of unrideable weather… i’m thinking it’s better to have a caged vehicle up here… (well.. unless you’ve got several vehicles:P)

6.) No Menso!!

I have to say that i’m disappointed that Chris didn’t make it up here
I mean.. it could happen to anyone… but it still sucks
Well instead of Goldee, Chris, Steph, and me all driving down…
it’ll be just Goldee and I –i mean “me”– returning on sunday…
hopefully we can all go for brunch on monday morning in Vancouver with Craig and Mizue before goldee goes over to victoria….

London Drugs was having some serious clearance!

I picked up two 5 or 8km FRS Radios… regularily $60.. i got for $15

I picked up an RCA Lyra 256MB (works with my SD Cards) MP3 player with fM receiver.. regularily $130.. i got for $30 =)

PPS: since this is edit of the orignal post… i’m back from PG… long long drive… sunday was nice weather up there, crappy in vancouver… heh…

MSN Spaces: man, MSN is getting hard to use…

stupid inking problems.. much of the time.. i can only message people through inking and the text doesn’t work…. AIYA!~!

so, i’m about the 1000km mark riding my bike now…. i’m feeling pretty good on it except for high speeds… i won’t go faster than 120kph soo windy…

hmm…. how many times have i given a cager the finger in that 1000km? suprisingly only twice! but i’ve honked at so many stupid people that don’t look before they leap (or change lanes)

on the list of stuff to do to the bike: i think the first thing will be to put in a louder horn! (need a fire engine horn.. hehe.. muh wah hahahah)

this past week has been stressful, i’ve been run down… so shaken up by the accident on S2S… Monica says she won’t ride the S2S this year… i honestly cannot make the same claim… but waiting for Scotty to get a bike before i go on the S2S may take forever… if ever =( but who knows… we’ll just have to wait and see how the future unfolds… but i’m hoping it involved me being able to take a vacation….

so what’s going on this month? (as it’s now May)

today we’re teaching someone to clutch… like the newbs leading the newbs… ~___~
(i think i’m going to be avoiding those newbie rides for a while.. just stick with my friends…)

Josh and Kerry are getting married!!!! and Goldee is coming to be a bridesmate!!!!!!
SO EXCITING!!!
May 21st Long weekend… gotta drive up to Prince George for the wedding…
if you’re a nice cute girl… wanna go with me? hehe.. i hate long drives by myself… it gets so boring…

anyways… time to experience some burger king drive through on a bike…
