“so what’s going on with you bike?” a lot of people ask…
Well, i have an updated parts list now… and a better idea as to what went wrong…
I’m looking for

  • 1 Upper Gasket Set
  • 1 Lower Gasket Set
  • 1 Crankshaft!!
  • 1 Connecting Rod
  • 2 Sets of Rod Bearings
  • 2 Sets of Crankshaft Bearings
  • 2 Pistons Optionally
  • 2 Piston Rings Optionally

It seem there is a cover for the oil filter which may have been on the wrong way… in addition, the washer on the oil filter
press/KLR_650_OIL_FILTER_OEM.jpg but i’ve checked the service manual and it seems to be okay….

Update 3 July 2005:
I’ve ordered by parts…. $1100 or so… should be in on friday or saturday….. so i may have my bike back in about two weeks~~~!!!!
