(Sorry this is really late… but here’s some highlights)
Sogo Xmas Lights
The Sogo and Daimaru christmas lights… when I first saw it, I was shocked and surprised… it looked pretty cool…. BUT it got old really quickly as the same lights are up and shining for the following almost half year

Slices Cafe and Bar (Japan)
We also had some Slices christmas festive decorating!
more festive decorating

but I didn’t really celebrate christmas in 2006….
on christmas eve… i didn’t really do much of anything….
on christmas day, I worked ALL DAY….
when I finished work at about 10 to 11pm at night… I headed up the Umeda to catch an overnight bus to Tokyo…

I’m so glad I bought that Nintendo DS Lite as it really came in handy for that long journey north…

Craig in Asakusa
But it was great to see Craig again… I hadn’t seen him since the previous June (before I had moved down to Osaka).

Disgusting Yakitori Ika or Tako mouth
At one point we really want to go to a yakitori place in the shinjuku takitori street…
it was great except for this weird ika or tako mouths on a skewer…
i’m so glad i don’t eat that stuff… blech…

shortly after, I returned to Osaka before the month was over…
so that was my christmas season….
news year’s on the other is another story…
