Scenes from a Corner Store is a great documentary about a Korean Canadian family and the generational gap between the first and second generation canadians. I know, I know… this issue is a REALLY old issue that has been addressed numerous times already… however, I think that people could still benefit from seeing this documentary.
Please note this video is very large and takes a little while to load after you have clicked it.

Scenes from a Corner Store is the winner of the National Film Board’s Kathleen Shannon Award and is definitely a notable contribution to the Asian Canadian film / arts & culture community.
For more information on the Korean-Canadian filmmaker, Sun-Kyung Yi, you can read an article with her here.
I’m not sure what the exact copyright liscense on this documentary is; however, in promotion and “fair use”/”fair deal” policy concerning intellectual property right law I think it’s okay to show you this documentary. If the author wishes me to remove it, I’d be more than happy to. Also, if there are any links to where someone can purchase this film, please let me know and I will post it up (as I could not find it listed with the National Film Board of Canada).
